The R&D Interconnect Solutions Riser Technology adds a new level of customization to the electronics industry. The riser can be designed to match any device footprint. This enables removal of the device from the actual system PCB. Once the device is removed, the riser can be installed at the same location. With the installed studs in the riser you can mount a R&D Interconnect Solutions Elastech® socket to the riser to enable device testing of the original device. The R&D Interconnect Solutions Riser solution is ideal for FA and lab testing and can be used on multiple units that have the same device installed. For example: you can use the riser technology on a tablet, a laptop, or a handheld gaming system.
